CitySec Updates: Atlanta, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, and New York

A quick update on some of the upcoming CitySec's. If there isn't one in your area, maybe, you should start one!

Atlanta (AtlantaSec)

It will be held Wednesday July 25th at 6:00 PM at The Brick Store Pub in Decatur. It's open to all Atlanta area Information Security and Computer professionals. I look forward to meeting y'all there! If you want to join in the conversation check out the posts at the CitySec site.

Chicago (CHISEC)

ChiSec 12 is July 19th, 2007. A Thursday. 7:00PM. Before Black Hat. We stay until people get tired of hanging out. That seems to be about 3 hours. Houlihan's on Wacker, downtown, where Michigan Ave. meets the Chicago river. We're in the back and will keep an eye out on the bar.

Grand Rapids (GRSEC)

We are on for July. This month we will be meeting at the Cambridge House on Tuesday July 24th, starting around 5:30pm.

Minneapolis/Twin Cities (MinneSec)

Twin Cities people know that we are light years ahead technically of places like NYC, DC, and Chicago, but we can also learn from some of their good ideas -- for example security meetups. The first MinneSec meeting is 7/26 at 6pm at the Local.

New York (NYSEC)

Grab a drink with new york metro area information security people on July 17th from 6PM - 9PM.
