Ruby For Pentesters - Blackhat 09
Aug 30, 2009 at 9:54PM Chris Well Blackhat has come and gone. Eric, Mike and I presented 'Ruby For Pentesters' and we think it went well. We covered some of the tools we've written in Ruby and covered here on the blog and some new ones you may not have heard of. Topics included web app assessments with WWMD, owning enterprise Java applications with JRuby, static and dynamic reversing with Ragweed, fuzzing with Ruckus, win32ole with AxRub and using Ruby to extend your old tools.
We got some great feedback from the audience. For those of you interested, most of the tools we presented on can be found at github.com, or will be covered soon in another capitvating Ruby For Pentesters post.
Here are the slides we presented, they are a lot different then the ones at blackhat.com! We welcome any feedback!

How come you webpage sucks so much...no only did they 0wn you, but you have proven how much you suck at keeping backup's and bringing the server back up. Link's are broken all over the place, even in the frontpage, that is just way more embarrasing than getting 0wned.
In case you wondering, we website doesn't run on we own server anymore. We'd rather eat a bug than host a blog. We moved from WordPress to, uh, something else (it's refreshing to not even know what the hell it is), and the WordPress import is imperfect. It's going to take a bit to fix all those links and stuff. I know you really want 'em, can't wait to have 'em, but try to be patient. Thanks!
