Flint 1.1.0 Available

Joel Cornelius Hey. Joel here. A small number of changes have been introduced into Flint 1.1.0. The largest among these is the ability to display the processing status of your firewall rules. This is particularly useful if you have large rulesets or configurations that involve multiple mappings between internal and external realms.
For such rulesets, Flint can appear to be unresponsive due to the massive amount of processing required. The benefit of this feature is that it lets you know Flint is still hard at work, and which stage it’s currently working in.
As in all previous versions of Flint, you will be redirected to the overview page following processing. Although the content on this page has not been modified in v.1.1.0, you may notice the url has changed to include the sha of the current firewall. This enables bookmarking the test results of your firewall configurations so you can view them later without having to re-process.
Additionally, the UI for running new reports has been changed slightly. The new report popup has been embedded into the new report page, along with a small set of instructions on how to load rules into Flint.
At the time of this writing, version 1.1.0 is only available through out git repository. Check out http://runplaybook.com/flint for more detailed instructions on how to install Flint via git. For those of you interested in the Flint VM, we should have one for 1.1.0 available by the end of the week.
